Pine Pavilion
Jurmala, Latvia, year 2020

Pine Pavilion is located at Jaundubulti Square, Jurmala. It is designed as a sculpture that responds to the surrounding environment and people. Pavilion reflects surrounding trees, the sky, the sun from the outside and the people who have entered it from inside. Its visual image changes with the hours of the day and seasons. It shines in golden colors at sunset and becomes white when the sky is cloudy. The pavilion serves not only as a meditation place where you can look at yourself and your surroundings through the prism of a kaleidoscope, but also as a practical shelter during the rain or hot summer sun.
