With a sizeable programme and artists well known in Latvia and abroad, the first Jūrmala Festival, took place in Jurmala Dzintari Concert Hall from July 20 to July 26.
Jurmala Festival combined various art genres – opera, ballet, theatre, brightest opuses of musical theatre, and open air jazz concerts.
Scenography of the concert performance „Where Spirits Meet with Sensations” was highly evaluated and therefore upgraded to be used again in first Jurmala festival.
